Three years of selling Bison Hill kit means three years of customer questions. The same questions appear repeatedly, across every channel — email, social, the contact form on the site. Over time, the frequency of a question becomes useful information: it tells you what the product page isn’t answering clearly enough, and it tells you what matters to the customer before they buy.
Here are the five questions we’ve been asked most.
1. What size should I order?
The Gaucho apron is one size. The adjustable crossback strap system and the D-ring neck loop accommodate almost all builds — from a smaller frame to a larger one. We’ve run the apron across a four-person Grill team of different builds for two years without adjustment issues. The answer is: one size fits most, and the adjustability is genuine.
2. How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold, air dry. The 12oz heavy denim improves with washing over time — it softens slightly without losing structure, and the colour develops in the way that good denim does. Don’t tumble dry. Don’t iron unless you want to.
3. How long does personalisation take?
Three to five working days for the Personalised Gaucho. The embroidery is done by adults with learning disabilities as part of our production partnership. Every personalised apron is embroidered to order.
4. Can I order for a corporate event?
Yes. Minimum five units for corporate orders. The Corporate Personalised Apron (£49 per unit) is the Gaucho with a company name or logo embroidered. Lead time for corporate orders is agreed at the time of enquiry — get in touch.
5. Is it really worth £75?
109-plus five-star reviews say yes. The customers who ask this question before buying have, consistently, been the ones who become the most vocal advocates afterwards. The hesitation is reasonable — £75 for an apron is a deliberate choice. The reviews are the answer.
